MODE Solutions

Accurate and flexible mode solver technology

MODE Solutions accurately describes the physical operation of both conventional and non-conventional waveguide geometries alike, allowing product engineers and R&D scientists to focus on innovating new design concepts while being confident in the accuracy of the simulation results. The core technology of MODE Solutions allows it to detail truly arbitrary waveguide geometries, from traditional fiber and rib waveguides to more sophisticated devices involving photonic crystal fiber, sloping-wall ridge waveguides, and spatially-varying refractive index distributions.
