FDTD Solutions examples and workflow

In this session, we work through a number of examples to provide a 'hands-on' demonstration that shows how FDTD Solutions can be used to simulate complex devices. Topics to be covered include:

• Recommended workflow
  • Setup and parameterization of simulation
  • Running and analyzing results
  • Parameter sweeps and optimization
  • Convergence testing
  • Using extra computers to make sweeps and optimizations run faster
• Application examples
  • Moth's eye solar cell
  • Plasmonic antenna and waveguide
  • Fluorescence enhancement
