Overview
We are honored to co-host the device simulation challenge at the 2020 OFC Lab Automation Hackathon with Acacia, Nokia Bell Labs and the Chalmers University of Technology. Contestants compete to design the best optimized 4-channel CWDMs for the O-band using the Python Automation API along with FDTD and MODE photonic solvers provided by Lumerical. The winning entries will be announced at the hackathon event. Please contact Peter Hallschmid or Binbin Guan for questions.

Software Licenses
Lumerical provides free 1-month evaluation licenses of simulation tools (FDTD, MODE, INTERCONNECT & Automation API) for registered contestants. You will receive a follow-up email with license instructions within two business days of registration.
